Born and raised in the picturesque Bar Harbor, Maine area, Madeline has always felt at home in the small, coastal towns of New England. Her passion for hospitality began with her first job at a bed & breakfast as a teenager and has since flourished into a 25-year career spanning various roles within the hospitality and service industry.

 Madeline joined The Whaler’s Inn in early 2021 as a Front Desk Associate, quickly rising through the ranks to become Front Desk Supervisor and later Guest Relations Manager. In her current role as Assistant General Manager, she is dedicated to creating exceptional guest experiences and supporting a talented team in delivering the personalized service The Whaler’s Inn is known for.

 Over the last 20 years, Madeline has lived in Portland, ME; Boston, MA; and Las Vegas, NV, but she and her long-term boyfriend have found one of their favorite places in Mystic, CT. Since settling in the area with their two beloved cats, they’ve embraced Mystic’s charm, exploring its scenic walking trails, vibrant culinary scene, and local wineries and breweries. Their shared love for adventure has also taken them on several cross-country road trips to discover numerous national and state parks.

 Madeline’s welcoming, empathetic personality and wealth of experience make her an invaluable member of The Whaler’s Inn team, ensuring every guest feels at home in this magical coastal town.
